With a rich legacy stretching back over 30 years, Chiltern Maritime, part of the Viking Family of Companies, has worked hard to build and maintain a first-class record and reputation for delivering some of the best officers to the Merchant Navy, approximately 4,500 to date.
Today we assist in administering over 350 Officer Cadets on a regular basis, with an enviable industry leading graduate rate of over 85%. We work with some of the most prestigious names in the industry which include Trinity House, MEF, Maritime London, Jubilee Sailing Trust, MSC Cruises, Fred Olsen Cruises, Zodiac Maritime, Condor Ferries and Windstar Cruises.
We believe the foundation of our success is based on three main factors; professionalism, selection and relationship building.
Our success, wonderful history and heritage has got us so far, but we realised the next step was to develop a new exciting visual identity for Chiltern and shape a new website which is meeting the needs of cadets, resonates with sponsors and is fit for tomorrows world.
The journey to create the new identity has been an exciting challenge and we were lucky enough to have gained the service of THINK STUDIO, a brand and marketing agency based in Canterbury and London.
Monday 11th saw the launch event in London at The UK Chamber of Shipping with over 60 guests in attendance. The new identity was showcased along with the website, uniforms and marketing materials.
This is the start of a new journey to publicly reposition the perceptions of who Chiltern are and the success we provide to the maritime industry.
With our vision and THINK’s creative resources, we are able to start a new approach to be more customer focussed and to understand what drives potential Cadets.
We can have confidence in our success, strengthening appeal to the best cadets and our values are aligned with their expectations.
