A luxury cruise line is looking for a professional Executive Pastry Chef to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a multi cultural team of Galley personnel, ensuring the highest level of crew satisfaction and productivity. They will also, run a disciplined department, being in full control of the pastry and bakery, maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with USPH and Company Regulations, and supervises and checks all pastry outlets, ensuring that standards are followed accordingly.
Other responsibilities include; overseeing the electronic requisitioning and ordering process to ensure the proper usage of ingredients, ensuring that the Pastry/Bakery Department is productive and operates with the least supervision required from the Executive Chef, and monitoring working hours, maintaining working hours paperwork and if applicable, correcting entries for payroll purposes.
The candidate must have a minimum of four years experience in the profession working in high quality hotels or restaurants.
Seafarers Medical / STCW will be required.
Rotation is 4 months on, 2 months off. Salary paid in US Dollars.
