We are looking for a Service Stewardess to join a 6* high-end luxury lodge in the sunny and beautiful North Island of New Zealand. This is a full time seasonal position to start ASAP until May 2019, where flexibility of availability is key. The successful candidate will be able to work across a 7-day shift pattern including, Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Public Holidays.
We are looking for someone with yacht stewardess experience or experience in the role at a similar standard (5 star or equivalent level). You will be responsible for high level restaurant and bar service. A genuine interest and understanding in Silver Service, food and drink, wine and cocktail knowledge is essential.
Candidates must be able to legally work in NZ. Must also have own transport and full drivers license.
Accommodation is provided, along with meals and a salary paid in NZ dollars.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Instructor to join a Maritime Training Centre located in the Netherlands.
As an Electrical Instructor, you will instruct and teach ship-board personnel, as well as involved in developing best practices that can be used on board the ships. An important element of the role will also be to visit our cruise ships from time-to-time, thereby ensuring that the teachings from the classroom and simulators are actually implemented on board.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrical Instructor, you are an integral part of the team, being a role model for the Electrical / Technical Staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering training to ship-board technical staff
- Developing courses/new procedures to be implemented on board ships
- Keeping up to date with current practices and technology
- Regular ship visits to maintain/update practices on-board
- Typically be or have been in the role of Chief Electrician/Superintendent, Senior ETO or a Subject Matter Experts (SME) Management level certificate of competency
- Cruise Ship experience is preferred
- Experience in teaching/instructing would be an asset
- Works well in a team

Candidates must have experience as Head Housekeeper on 100m+ yachts or Chief Stew on 80m+ yachts.
Candidates will ensure that housekeepers are coached and monitored to deliver levels of excellence. Communicate effectively and proactively to ensure that information and requests/orders are well understood and adhered to. Ability to coach, nurture and inspire is crucial for this role.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join a luxury lodge in New Zealand.
Ideally we are looking for a Deck Officer or Bosun with plenty of hands on deck experience and managing a large team. The role will be a busy one managing a team of seven, including rosters and all necessary training of new staff. The successful candidate will also be dealing with suppliers and contractors relevant to the department.
We are looking for someone who is willing to commit long term, so candidates will need to legally be able to work in New Zealand. Must also have tender driving license, own transport and drivers license.

Viking are looking for a shore based financial controller. This role is based permanently in the Middle East, and the chosen candidate will be tasked with setting up financial policy, financial reporting, and KPI's while overseeing the budget of a large fleet of private yachts.
Candidates will have very strong land based experience in finance, and will also preferably have worked at sea on either a cruise ship or large private yacht, so as to understand the role better.
