We are looking for a Seaman Grade 1 / SG1 to join the Royal Fleet Auxiliary.
Candidates require an up to date STCW Basic Safety Training certification, Navigational Watch Rating Certificate Deck, Efficient Deck Hand (EDH) certificate. 6 months recorded sea service in the Deck branch on board a Merchant Vessel in the last 3 years.
Competitive annual salary paid in GBP. Rotation of 3/4 months on with 21 days voyage leave per month.
All candidates must hold a British passport and have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for a minimum of 5 years prior to application in order to comply with MOD Security Regulations.
We are currently looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer to join a luxury cruise company.
The HSE Officer reports directly to the Master with responsibility for oversight of and assisting with development of company occupational safety, environmental and public health policies, procedures, and systems onboard.
Suitable candidates should have good knowledge on HSE regulatory issues (including MARPOL, SOLAS, STCW, MLC, USPH and other Public Health Standards globally).
Candidates require a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Maritime Industry with HSE Related University/College education preferred or alternative extensive experience in the HSE field. They must also be familiar with AMOS Requisitioning, Inventory & Planned Maintenance system; Safety Management System and overall intent of the International Safety Management Code (ISM).
Candidates must hold valid STCW Certification including I/6 Train the Trainer; V/2 Crowd and Crisis Management
Competitive salary paid in US Dollars over 12 months.
Rotation: 10 weeks on, 10 weeks off.
